Sunday ServicesThe main service is at 10:00 a.m. in Church. It is normally a Parish Communion in the modern language style with Choir and a short sermon. On the first Sunday of the month it is for all ages (family Communion) and on other Sundays there is usually Footsteps (Sunday School) starting at 9:45 a.m. in the Old School just across the lane. See location page to find Church and Old School. There are also traditional Prayer Book Services at 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in Church. Occasionally the time and style of the evening service may be altered; changes will be advertised in the "Three Heralds", the weekly news-sheet and on the events page.
Midweek Services
A service of Holy Communion takes place each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. This service is from The Book of Common Prayer, and lasts approximately half an hour. CAMEO (come and meet each other) is an informal get together in Church for pre-school children and their parents or carers and is currently on the second Tuesday of each month and on the Wednesday following at 2:15 p.m.
Additional services are held in Lent and at major festivals.
The clergy are happy to arrange for those who find it difficult to get to church to receive Holy Communion monthly at home. If you need transport to Church please get in touch with the clergy or churchwardens who will do their best to make arrangements.
